L’Esperluette
for the CIEP

L’Esperluette is the quarterly magazine of the CIEP (Centre d’Information et d’Éducation Populaire), dedicated to highlighting reflections, social initiatives, and practices in continuing education.

Each issue brings together in-depth articles, regional activities, and thematic dossiers that explore civic engagement and lifelong learning.

For Issue No. 107 (January–March 2021), I was responsible for the editorial design and layout of the full 28-page publication. The goal was to translate rich and often complex content into a clear, structured, and engaging reading experience while respecting the magazine’s existing identity.

Through careful attention to typography, hierarchy, and pacing, I worked to create a visual rhythm that supports readability and guides the reader through articles, features, and visual elements. The project required balancing editorial clarity with visual consistency, ensuring that each page contributes to a cohesive and accessible whole.

This collaboration reflects my interest in editorial storytelling and design as a way to make information more approachable, meaningful, and engaging for a wide audience.
